Pope Francis to Embark on Apostolic Journey to Luxembourg and Belgium
The Holy See Press Office has officially announced that Pope Francis will be making an Apostolic Journey to Luxembourg and Belgium from September 26 to September 29.
Accepting invitations from the Heads of State and Church authorities of both countries, Pope Francis will kick off his journey in Luxembourg on September 26. Later that day, he will head to Belgium and remain there until September 29, visiting the cities of Brussels, Leuven, and Louvain-la-Neuve. The detailed schedule for the visit will be released at a later date.
This journey comes after an extensive visit to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, and Singapore from September 2 to September 13, marking the Pope’s longest-ever trip. Ahead of this upcoming journey, the Vatican has released official logos and mottos for the visits, anticipating a meaningful and impactful experience for all involved.
