Journey to Faith: A Personal Story
Dear Fr. Antonio María,
I want to take you through a transformative experience that unfolded in my life between December 2018 and 2019.
My husband and I, residents of Canada, relocated to another province for his teaching job. However, the new environment posed challenges, especially in his workplace. Struggling with a crisis, he embarked on retreats, leaving me bewildered and alone with our young children.
Feeling abandoned and lost, I sought solace in the parish. The cold Canadian winter made it even harder, but Radio María brought warmth to my heart. Daily Mass attendance and listening to catechism programs became my refuge.
I found myself drawn towards perpetual adoration, where I felt the comforting presence of the Virgin Mary. The journey of prayer and reflection led me to explore my faith like never before.
Despite uncertainties about my family’s future, I surrendered to divine guidance. Prayers for my husband and others became a daily ritual, filling my days with faith and hope.
Slowly, as I delved deeper into the teachings of the Church and the Scriptures, I discovered a profound connection with the Lord. Miraculously, in May, my husband returned, marking a new chapter in our lives.
Reflecting on the transformative power of faith, I embraced a newfound love for God and His teachings, eager to share this light with my family and the world.
This journey of rediscovery and redemption has been a humbling yet enlightening experience that continues to shape my spiritual path.
