Dear friends, the intersection of artificial intelligence and peace is of utmost significance. Human dignity hinges on preserving our ability to make choices about our lives without being reliant on machines. Let us ensure that humans retain control over AI programs to safeguard our dignity.

The choice of Hiroshima as the venue for discussions on AI and peace holds great symbolic value amidst the current global conflicts. It is imperative that we come together to advocate for the prohibition of lethal autonomous weapons and the promotion of human oversight in AI development.
