Excitement filled the air as Lorenzo Musetti faced off against Nole Djokovic in the semi-finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic tennis tournament. Despite his best efforts, Musetti was defeated in two straight sets (6-4 6-2) by the Serbian powerhouse. Djokovic will now advance to the final for the gold medal against Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, while Musetti will compete for the bronze against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.

In another thrilling match, Carlos Alcaraz, ranked number 3 in the world, dominated his semi-final by defeating Canadian star Félix Auger-Aliassime with a score of 6-1 6-1 in just 1 hour and 15 minutes of play.

Prior to that, Novak Djokovic secured his spot in the semi-finals by defeating Greek player Stefanos Tsitsipas in two sets with a score of 6-3 7-6.

“At this moment, I feel like I can beat anyone,” said Musetti after his quarter-final victory against Zverev. “I am confident for the rest of the season. The journey I am on leads me to say that. I truly hope to rewrite history, even though we have already made some progress. But at this point, I do not want to settle or be content.”
