    China Criticizes Support to Kiev in Attacks Against Russia

    China has expressed concerns about Ukraine’s new front opened in August attacking the Russian oblast of Kursk, a surprise move that exposed Moscow’s vulnerability. Li Hui, Beijing’s special representative for Eurasian Affairs, criticized the West’s support for Kiev: “All parties are concerned that the West continues to loosen conditions for Ukraine to strike Russian territory with provided arms. Recent developments on the battlefield have confirmed these concerns,” Li said, following a mission to Indonesia, Brazil, and South Africa.

    Media Report: Ukrainian Forces Attempting to Cross Border into Belgorod

    Ukrainian forces are attempting to cross the Russian border to reach the southern Russian region of Belgorod, with clashes underway: as reported by Russian Telegram channels, cited by The Guardian. According to the Mash Telegram channel, about 500 Ukrainian soldiers attacked two checkpoints in Nekhoteyevka and Shebekino in Belgorod, and clashes were reported in both areas. Belgorod borders the Kursk region, where Ukrainian troops had seized Russian territory after a lightning raid on August 6th.

    Zelensky: ‘We Will Respond to Russian Attacks’

    “We will definitely respond to Russia for this and all other attacks against humanity; they cannot be committed with impunity,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram after the new Russian raid. “The search and rescue operation is ongoing in the areas where debris fell in Ukrainian regions under Russian attack last night. Unfortunately, despite the effective work of our air defense, 4 people were killed and 16 injured.” Zelensky stated that the Russians used more than 90 aerial targets including drones and cruise, ballistic, and aeroballistic missiles.

    Kiev: 10 Missiles and 81 Kamikaze Drones Launched in Russian Raid

    At least four people have been killed in the latest Russian attack on various regions of Ukraine. Air raid alarms were issued in the early morning hours as Ukrainian monitors detected Russian aircraft launching hypersonic missiles. Zaporizhia regional administration chief Ivan Fedorov reported that one man was killed, and a man and a woman were injured in the city of Zaporizhia. Explosions were also reported in the Kiev, Sumy, Khmelnytsky, and Mykolayiv regions.

    Massive Russian Attack on Ukraine for Second Consecutive Day

    For the second consecutive day, the Russian Federation has launched a massive combined attack on Ukrainian territory, as reported by the Unian agency. Missiles were launched mainly towards western regions during the night, prompting a nationwide air alert. Explosions were reported in the Khmelnytskyi region. The Ukrainian military aviation reported drones flying over the Kherson, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv, and Zhytomyr regions. Drones caused one death and two injuries in Zaporizhia district.

    According to the Ukrainian military aviation, “Russian bombers and drones are flying towards Ukraine.” These include numerous Tu-95ms (bombers) that took off from the Engels airbase in southwestern Russia. Furthermore, “missiles could enter Ukrainian airspace in about two hours,” added the Ukrainian aviation on Telegram.

    Russian Missile Hits Hotel in Kryvyi Rih, Two Dead and 5 Missing

    Two dead, four injured, and five missing is the toll of a Russian attack on the town of Kryvyi Rih, a city in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast in eastern Ukraine. A missile hit a hotel, according to city military administration chief Oleksandr Vilkul, as reported by Kiev Independent. The injured have been taken to the hospital. “The rescue operation is ongoing. All emergency, municipal, and medical services are working,” wrote Yevhen Sytnychenko, district military administration chief on Telegram.

    Biden: Russia Will Never Succeed in Ukraine

    Joe Biden strongly condemns in a note “Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine and its efforts to plunge the Ukrainian people into darkness” and adds, “I want to be clear: Russia will never succeed in Ukraine, and the spirit of the Ukrainian people will never be broken.” He promises that the United States will continue to lead a coalition of over 50 countries in support of Ukraine and provide crucial military equipment, including air defense systems and interceptors. Biden reassures that the US will stand by the Ukrainian people until they prevail against Russian aggression.
