Welcome to the New and Improved Leonardo Express Service!
Exciting news for travelers in Rome! The efficient Leonardo Express train service connecting Termini station to Leonardo da Vinci airport, also known as Fiumicino, will now operate later into the night, starting from Wednesday, 18th September.
Thanks to a joint effort by Trenitalia and the Lazio region, two additional night journeys have been added to the schedule. The last train departing from Roma Termini will now leave at 23:35, while the final service from Fiumicino will depart at 00:23.
Lazio transport councillor Fabrizio Ghera expressed his enthusiasm about the new schedule, stating that it will benefit both late-night travelers and airport workers. This initiative comes at a perfect time as Rome prepares to welcome millions of tourists and pilgrims for the Vatican’s Jubilee Year 2025.
With trains running every 15 to 30 minutes from Roma Termini (04:50 – 23:35) and Fiumicino (05:38 – 00:23), travelers can now enjoy the convenience of the Leonardo Express for only €14 one-way.
Don’t miss out on this improved service that caters to your travel needs, whether you’re catching a late flight or heading to work at Fiumicino airport.
