Mentre il fronte anti-Assad prende di mira Hama, nelle aree conquistate si promette protezione per le minoranze. La parrocchia si è trasformata in un punto di distribuzione di aiuti, ma le risorse sono limitate. La popolazione è esausta dopo anni di sofferenza e stallo.

    Parroco di Aleppo: Fame, nuovo pericolo post bombe

    Aleppo – L’orrore dei bombardamenti sta cedendo il passo alla minaccia della fame, una realtà drammatica per la popolazione bisognosa che cerca disperatamente cibo mentre i prezzi aumentano. Il parroco padre Bahjat Karakach racconta giorni di calma apparente che rassicurano la gente, ma le preoccupazioni per il futuro sono grandi.

    Con l’avanzata delle milizie di Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, la situazione nelle zone sotto il loro controllo come Aleppo e ad Hama è incerta. Mentre i ribelli promettono tolleranza per le minoranze, la battaglia per Hama è intensa con l’esercito governativo e i raid russi che cercano di contenere l’offensiva.

    La chiesa di padre Bahjat è un punto di distribuzione vitale, ma le risorse sono limitate e la fame è una minaccia costante. Mentre la vita quotidiana è difficile con l’energia intermittente e la carenza di beni di prima necessità, c’è una luce di speranza nell’aria che porta sollievo a un popolo esausto ma ancora combattivo.
