Hamas has announced that they have agreed to continue implementing the ceasefire agreement and proceed with the release of hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held in Israel, according to the agreed timeline. This news has been reported by Arab and Israeli media.
The agreement includes the release of three kidnapped Israelis this Saturday. Following talks in Cairo, Hamas states that Egyptian and Qatari mediators have promised to remove obstacles hindering the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

Hamas is willing to continue implementing the ceasefire agreement with Israel, on the condition that Israel fulfills its obligations, while negotiators push to overcome a deadlock in the agreement’s implementation. “We are ready to implement (the agreement) and force the occupation (Israel) to fully respect it,” said Abdel Latif al-Qanou, a spokesperson for the Palestinian movement. “Mediators are pushing… to resume the exchange process on Saturday” of hostages in the Gaza Strip with Palestinians detained by Israel, the statement adds.

Israel: Protests for the release of hostages continue
Israel: Heavy equipment will not enter Gaza
Campers and heavy machinery will not enter Gaza. This statement is made by Omer Dostri, spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after Hamas announced they would continue with the hostage release following an agreement on aid entry into the Strip. The Times of Israel reported this. Al Jazeera aired footage of trucks waiting to enter Gaza, apparently loaded with campers and equipment. However, the Prime Minister’s office denied this, calling it “fake news” with no basis.
