This move has sparked anger in Russia, but Trump remains determined to intensify contacts and has been invited to Moscow by Putin. Meanwhile, European Commissioner Ué Callas emphasizes the importance of collaboration between Europe and the US to bring peace to our continent.
In other news, tensions in the Middle East are easing as Israel confirms its commitment to the ceasefire agreement with Egypt. Additionally, Italy and other European countries continue to support Ukraine in achieving a just and lasting peace. However, Defense Minister Cats warns of a possible resurgence in fighting if an agreement is not reached.
Moving on to Taiwan, a tragic incident has occurred with 4 deaths and 17 injuries resulting from an explosion in a shopping center. Initial reports suggest a gas leak may have caused the explosion, leading to casualties and significant damage.
Closer to home, a heartbreaking story unfolds in a nursing home in Florence, Italy, where two residents have passed away from a severe gastrointestinal illness. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the outbreak, with two other residents in critical condition.
