Welcome to the 30th edition of the ‘I Suoni delle Dolomiti’ festival, taking place from August 27th to October 4th, 2025. The festival celebrates its three decades of existence, featuring new voices and returning favorites. The event, which combines music and nature in the Trentino region, has been described as a community, a people of sounds, and an accelerator of humanity.
From the first music to the sounds of the future, the festival offers a rich program set amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Dolomites. The festival director, Mario Brunello, emphasized the pioneering nature of the event, which has inspired similar initiatives worldwide over the past thirty years.

The festival maintains its successful format while adding special elements to mark the anniversary year. Renowned author Alessandro Baricco will kick off the festivities, leading up to a series of classical concerts in Val di Fassa to close the event.
A Sustainable and Inclusive Festival
The festival’s commitment to sustainability and inclusivity is evident in its diverse lineup of events that engage with the natural environment of the Dolomites. The festival has been recognized by the European Festivals Association for its cultural and environmental contributions.

The festival embraces new musical talents while honoring its legacy through the Paolo Manfrini competition. This year, the vocal jazz trio Le Scat Noir was awarded for embodying the festival’s values and history.
Niccolò Fabi at ‘I Suoni delle Dolomiti’
Singer-songwriter Niccolò Fabi made a surprise appearance at the festival’s 2025 edition launch. Fabi shared his special connection to the event and the Trentino region, where he recorded his upcoming album ‘Libertà negli occhi’. The album will be presented live in Val di Sole, embodying the essence of the festival’s spirit.

Fabi praised the festival’s authenticity and its ability to create a unique communal experience where artists and audiences come together in a natural setting. He highlighted the transformative power of the mountains and the genuine connection fostered through the festival.
Embracing Humanity
Fabi emphasized the festival’s focus on humanity and vulnerability, contrasting the traditional concert setting with the raw, authentic experience of performing in nature. He reflected on the intimate connection forged between artists and the audience in the unguarded outdoor setting.
The ‘I Suoni delle Dolomiti’ festival embodies a harmonious blend of music, nature, and community, offering a profound and genuine experience for both artists and attendees.

Experience the magic of ‘I Suoni delle Dolomiti’ and immerse yourself in a world where music meets mountains, creating a unique and unforgettable artistic journey.
