It’s a seminar with many points of interest. First of all, the Burgundy region, one of the most celebrated in the world, which we will ideally travel through to analyze its history, stylistic trends, and wine identity traits. The common denominator of the prestigious bottles selected is their origin from venerable vineyards. What do “vieilles vignes” – often mentioned on the label – provide to the final wine? These and other questions will be answered in the morning with a frontal presentation and tasting of six Burgundy labels chosen by the speaker for their didactic effectiveness as well as their overwhelming quality.
