Exciting News: Archbishop Diego Ravelli Reveals Pope’s Upcoming Schedule!

Master of Papal Celebrations, Archbishop Diego Ravelli, has unveiled the Pope’s agenda for the upcoming weeks, including the Petrine Ministry Mass on May 18 at St. Peter’s Basilica and visits to the Basilicas of St. Paul Outside the Walls and Santa Maria Maggiore.
The Papal Schedule
On Sunday, May 18, Pope Leo XIV will preside over the Mass for the beginning of his Pontificate at 10 am in St. Peter’s Square. Following this, on Tuesday, May 20, at 5 pm, the Pope will visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls to pay homage at the Tomb of St. Paul. Then on Sunday, May 25, at 5 pm, Pope Leo will celebrate the Mass of installation on the Cathedra Romana as the Bishop of Rome at the Basilica of St. John Lateran. Later at 7 pm, he will move to Santa Maria Maggiore to venerate the icon of the Virgin, the “Salus Populi Romani.”
Lastly, on Saturday, May 31, coinciding with the Church’s celebration of the Visitation of Mary to her cousin Elizabeth, Pope Leo XIV will celebrate Mass at 10 am in St. Peter’s Basilica, during which he will ordain some priests.
