Bishop Thomas Paprocki, Bishop Kevin Rhoades, and Father Thomas Ferguson have been chosen to join the advisory board for President Donald Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission, as announced in a statement from the White House.
These three Catholic clergymen will be joining San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone on the Advisory Board of Religious Leaders for the commission. Cardinal Timothy Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York and Bishop Robert Barron of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota are already serving on the commission.
Bishop Rhoades, who leads the Fort Wayne-South Bend diocese in Indiana, also chairs the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Religious Liberty.
