Dear Archbishop Laurent Ulrich, Archbishop of Paris
Greetings to you, Your Excellency. As the Olympic Games draw near in your city, I offer my prayers and support for the Mass you are celebrating. I pray that the Lord showers His blessings upon all who will be part of this grand event – be it athletes, spectators, or the kind souls opening their doors to welcome them, especially the faithful of Paris and beyond.
I am heartened to see the Christian communities preparing to embrace this opportunity to showcase their hospitality and share the joy of Christ within them with all who enter their churches, schools, and homes. Your efforts to ensure access to the celebrations for the most vulnerable is truly commendable. I hope that the spirit of fraternity and unity fostered by the Games will bring the people of France together in harmony, transcending differences and strengthening the Nation.
